Morgan Freeman Accuses the Tea Party of Being Racist

I used to be a big fan of Morgan Freeman. That changed when I saw this CNN interview of him stating that the reason the GOP/Tea Party are bound and determined to make Obama a one-term President is because they are racist.

Apparently, in his cloudy brain, there can’t possibly be any other legitimate reason as to why anyone would want him out of office.

Yes, you heard it correctly! He said of Obama that “he’s just an honorable man”, and then goes on to repeat that “he’s a man of deep honor.”

What?!?  Obama has not kept the promises he made to the American people, the country is falling apart around us (and no you can’t continue to blame that on Bush 3 years into his presidency), and our freedoms are being ripped out from under us.

I guess none of that matters.  All that matters to Morgan Freeman is that Obama is black and therefore, anyone that doesn’t want him to be re-elected is racist.

Let’s make one thing very clear – voting for someone because they are a certain skin color is just as bad as not voting for someone because of their skin color. I think that speaks volumes about Freeman’s character.

Of course, his character was already in question after long-time allegations of romantic involvement with his step-granddaughter, E’Dena Hines.  Perhaps he’s just too busy sexing his ex-wife’s daughter to realize what a sorry state our country is in.  Clearly, wisdom does not always come with age.
